Here’s a second pizza dough recipe and it’s one that we prefer over the Green Mountain version that I posted here. This recipe hasn’t been changed from the original one (very odd for us!)
While browsing food items in the Flipboard app, we came across this one from the Seattle Times and decided to give it a try. We enjoyed the ease of making, how it bakes in our pizza oven, the great chew and taste. It’s perfect in our opinion.

This recipe comes from our friends at Green Mountain Grills. We purchased our grill in 2019 and love using it. One accessory we purchased was the pizza oven attachment. I reviewed it in the pizza sauce recipe. We love the sauce and their pizza dough recipe is pretty good. In June 2019 we made an investment in a wood pellet smoker/grill. We choose the Daniel Boone model from Green Mountain Grills. The primary reason we chose this one over other smoker/grills is my first hand experience seeing it in operation while visiting my daughter, son-in-law, and their son. Their grill made impressive chicken and amazing chocolate chip cookies. Yes, chocolate chip cookies. I would never had thought using a smoker/grill to bake cookies. There’s just a hint of smoke flavor in the cookies. Very subtle but you can taste it. Anyway, I digress so back to the title of this post but I’ll post the cookie recipe in the near future.
